Amber Bender is founder and executive director of Addi’s Faith Foundation. Her daughter, Addison Faith Bender, was just 16 months old when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent aggressive cancer treatments. After a hard-fought battle, little Addi passed away and soon after Addi’s Faith Foundation was born.
Having experienced the devastating effects of childhood cancer first-hand, Amber and husband Tony work tirelessly to support AFF’s mission of funding research specifically for childhood cancer and helping families dealing with a child’s cancer diagnosis. Under Amber’s direction, Addi’s Faith Foundation has raised and donated more than $1 million.
While leading Addi’s Faith Foundation, Amber continues to be a full-time mother to her and Tony’s three children. Prior to her non-profit career, Amber worked as an elementary teacher and holds an education degree from the University of Minnesota.
